The singer-songwriter in this song tells about a relationship, perhaps in crisis or perhaps with a desire to start again. A title that seems to describe the current state of our society.

Starting today, January 24, Ci Siamo Persi di Vista, the new single by Sicilian artist Nico Gulino for Mhodì Music Company, is available on all digital platforms.

Starting today, January 24, Ci Siamo Persi di Vista, the new single by Sicilian artist Nico Gulino for Mhodì Music Company, is available on all digital platforms.

The song is the singer-songwriter’s first single, four years after the release of his first official album entitled Meglio Morir D’amore, and anticipates the upcoming release of his new project.
“When I wrote the lyrics to this song, I thought it could tell the story of a normal couple’s crisis. Never would I have thought that it would be able to represent this sad and harsh historical moment that is bringing us down, distancing us more and more from each other.”

Ci Siamo Persi di Vista is a personal narrative that anyone can identify with. In recent years, who among us has not witnessed several changes? During the first lockdown we felt deprived of our freedom, we chanted on balconies, we shouted, “We’re going to make it!” But within the walls of our homes, we experienced, alone or with our families, joys and sorrows. Some couples have found a way to reinvent their relationship, others, however, have closed themselves between social media and TV, bringing their relationship to an avoidable end; this is not only the fault of the pandemic, it is something that can happen in any human being, at any time; especially when one no longer has the will to take a step each, when one stays behind the other and does not wait for the next step. After all, we are so close, we are face to face.
