Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. Our commitment

Mhodì S.r.l.s, with registered office at Via Francesco Cilea 105, 95131 Catania (CT), Italy, VAT IT05083480870, is committed to making its website mhodi.com accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability, in line with the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness.

2. Conformance status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, the reference standard of the European standard EN 301 549. The site is currently partially conformant: most requirements are met, while some points are still being remediated (see section 4).

3. Measures adopted

Among the measures already in place:

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer) and a single, correct heading hierarchy per page
  • “Skip to main content” link for keyboard users (bypass blocks)
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator; focus is trapped within dialogs and returned to the trigger on close
  • ARIA attributes on interactive controls (icon buttons, current page, expanded/collapsed state)
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and empty alt on decorative ones
  • Form fields with associated labels and error messages announced to assistive technologies
  • Respect for the “reduced motion” system preference, disabling non-essential animations
  • Automated accessibility checks (axe / Lighthouse) run on every code change

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Colour contrast: a few secondary or decorative text elements may not yet reach the AA ratio (4.5:1). Remediation is in progress, guided by automated reports.
  • Third-party content: external services linked from the site (e.g. streaming platforms, social media) are not under our direct control and may have their own accessibility levels.

5. Evaluation method

The conformance of this site was assessed through a combination of self-assessment and automated testing tools (axe-core and Lighthouse), integrated into the development pipeline so that every change is checked. The assessment is reviewed periodically.

6. Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need content in an alternative format, please let us know — your feedback helps us improve. Write to legal@mhodi.com or use our contact page. We aim to respond within 30 days.

7. Enforcement

Should you not receive a satisfactory response to your report, you have the right to escalate the matter to the competent national authority. This statement was prepared on 10 June 2026 and refers to the current state of the site; it will be updated as accessibility improves.
