Publishing

Music publishing,
sync and sub-publishing.

Mhodì Music Publishing works every day with music supervisors, foreign publishers, and producers. An independent publishing catalog and a dedicated portal that guarantees real-time transparency on royalties and sync licensing.

Who we are as a publisher

An independent publisher with its own portal.

Mhodì Music Publishing is the publishing division of Mhodì Music Company. We register and administer works, negotiate synchronization licenses, represent foreign sub-publishers in the Italian market, and manage relationships with SIAE and Soundreef.

We believe that every songwriter, composer, or sub-publisher deserves a clear picture of how their works are being managed. That is why we developed publishing.mhodi.com, our partner portal. Every partner receives their own credentials and accesses always up-to-date reports on royalties, statements, sync usages, and registered works.

The publishing craft

What music publishing means, in practice.

Music publishing concerns the composition — lyrics and music — rather than the finished recording. While a record label produces and owns the master, a music publisher administers the copyright on the song itself: it registers the work with collecting societies, tracks its uses, collects the royalties it generates, and makes sure they reach the authors. It is quiet, patient work, and it is where a song's value is protected over time.

As a music publishing house, Mhodì Music Publishing does this work every day. We register works with SIAE (publisher code 284774) and operate under IPI code 01002385116, the international identifier that connects our catalog to collecting societies worldwide. We administer the publishing rights of the group's catalog, negotiate synchronization licenses for film, TV, advertising, and video games, and act as sub-publisher in Italy for foreign publishers who need a reliable local counterpart.

We remain deliberately selective. A small catalog, followed closely, is worth more than a vast one left unattended — for the authors, and for whoever licenses their music.
