An anthem to the emigrating South and the indelible bond with one's roots. Roberta Gulisano's new single, a dedication to all those seeking to plant their roots in other lands.

Available from October 27, 2023, the new single by Roberta Gulisano titled "A ccu apparteni?" ("Who Do You Belong To?").

A dedication to all those who have no roots and are trying to plant their own in other lands.

This visceral track celebrates the courage and resilience of generations of young Italians who venture abroad in search of a better future, while remaining indelibly connected to their roots.

With her enchanting voice and ability to capture emotion through music, Gulisano delivers a passionate interpretation of this narrative, using the Sicilian language as a vehicle to speak of conditions unchanged across time: poverty, loneliness, resilience, and hope, yesterday as today.

"A ccu apparteni?" features a touching lyric that goes straight to the heart of anyone who has ever had to leave their home to earn the dignity of a secure future.

Gulisano speaks of herself and, by extension, of an entire generation, turning this song into a tribute to young Italians who open themselves to the world while carrying the essence of their roots, blending into new stories, continuing to tell their own identity.
