Atlas (Remastered): the meeting of Markus Stockhausen and Martux_M
Released digitally on 21 April 2026, the remastered version of the 2015 EP signed by German trumpeter Markus Stockhausen (son of Karlheinz Stockhausen) and Naples-born electronic pioneer Maurizio Martusciello, aka Martux_M. Four tracks between art electronics and contemporary jazz.
Atlas (Remastered) by Markus Stockhausen & Martux_M Crew was released on 21 April 2026 on all digital platforms: it is the remastered version of the EP originally issued on vinyl on 19 January 2015 by Resiliens Astra, the sub-label of Resiliens Recordings run by Federico Fiume. The new Anaglyphos edition is digital-only, with no fresh physical pressing.
The meeting
The EP is the result of the collaboration between Markus Stockhausen, German trumpeter and composer, son of Karlheinz Stockhausen, and Maurizio Martusciello (Martux_M), a Naples-born composer and one of the pioneers of the European electronic scene since the Nineties. Both have made the crossover between jazz and electronic music their internationally recognized stylistic axis.
The four tracks
- Mm01 (6:30)
- Mm02 (5:07)
- G 1 (8:55)
- G 5B (2:53)
Twenty-three minutes in total. The sequence retains that of the original vinyl edition, built on two fronts: Mm01 and Mm02 are the two electric pieces conceived between Rome and Cologne in 2011-2012; G 1 and G 5B are entirely acoustic, recorded and mixed in Cologne at the KlangKunst Studio in 2014.
What the remastering brings
The remastering restores detail and dynamic range to the original material, returning it to the digital circuit as part of the ongoing valorization of the Anaglyphos catalog. The project sits within the ongoing relationship between Martusciello and the label, already documented by his collaboration with Danilo Rea on Introverso.
