Biography
Vincent Migliorisi is a Sicilian multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer. Born in 1977 in Ragusa, he weaves acoustic instruments and electronic production with a writing that ranges across new wave, folk rock, popular song, world music and contemporary classical. He has more than two hundred concerts in Italy to his name. As a guitarist he tours with Colapesce and is the creator and frontman of Trio CasaMia. He has also founded and directed ensembles such as La Casbah, Piccola Orchestra Primavera and Talèh, performing with many artists of the Italian independent scene. With La Casbah he releases two etno-rock albums; with Piccola Orchestra Primavera he signs the album "Prima v'era" (2010). As a soloist he releases "L'ultimo inverno", a work that wins him the M.E.I., the Italian Meeting of Independent Labels. In November 2013 he wins the Ozu Short Tracks for the live sonorization of "The Wizard of Oz" (1903) created with Piccola Orchestra Primavera, awarded unanimously by jury and audience. Alongside his work as a musician, he composes soundtracks for cinema, theater and dance, putting at the service of narration his natural disposition to bring distant musical languages into dialogue. In 2026 he releases "In Deep and Dance", a sound laboratory where the sonorities of Mediterranean tradition intertwine with contemporary electronic structures.
